Garrison Resident Performs At Lincoln Center

GARRISON, N.Y. – Longtime Garrison resident Charley Krachy will be part of a Lincoln Center performance on Wednesday, July 1.

Krachy will be performing saxophone with the Kazzrie Jaxen Quartet as part of the Lincoln Center Jazz Hall of Fame induction ceremony, taking place at Dizzy's Club at the Center.

The quartet will be performing in honor of inductee Lennie Tristano, who worked with Kazzrie Jaxen in the past.

“I'm excited, thrilled and nervous as hell to be playing before the jazz elites who will be in attendance,” Krachy said in a statement.

The ceremony will start at 7:30 p.m., and is scheduled to be streamed live at www.jazz.org/media/live-webcasts.
